Hats off to Royal Woodbine winners last Sunday. Julio R. led the way with a dazzling net of 61. Much kudos to Fred H. for hanging on to win the Month 4 contest with an inspiring total best net 3 of 4 scores of 208 followed by Jimmy M. with a 210. Saed J. who came out of nowhere placed third with 214. Not much change regarding the race to POY as the leaders almost stayed the same where they are. Rey P. flashing a promising climb to fifth place. Saed and Levi M. could be well joining the fray with the leaders if they continue their good play to the end.

Closest to the pin winners: Joey C. on the 10^th and Manny C. got the 14^th.

Royal Woodbine’s management surprised us with a bombshell yesterday by moving some of the blue tee boxes way back. Most of them were much closed to gold tee boxes. Was it because there was an Italian league ahead of us? Wasn’t this on the contrary to speed up the game just because it was a tournament? Anyway despite of all these, Don D. left us in astonishment as he drove the ninth par 5 hole in the middle of the fairway closed to 150 yard marker. He and Mar DV.  amazingly secured a safe way drive on the 12 hole par 5 as well.  Seb DM. showed us flashes of worthy long club hits but a little hard pressed on his short game in our opinion. He’s such a low key person that nothing seems to bother him as he plods along. Don’t we wish we could all duplicate his demeanor at the least on the golf course?
