Congratulations to the winners of last Sunday’s round at Westview. Levi M.  carded an impressive low net of 65. Sennix B. took care of seizing the front nine. SGC welcomes a pleasant surprise about who leads the race to month four after just two games. It’s none other than the incomparable Mr. Fred H. who incurred a combined total net score of 142 with two games left.  Whatever happened to the young guns? Searing Bingoy P.  followed with two net game totals of 145. Four other people closely tied for third with 146 – Jojo D., Jimmy M., Seho O., & Nap P. There is still a chance for players to catch up as well as those who got a game in from the past two weeks.  Anything can happen, folks!

Race to POY is becoming an interesting race after all. Not much change here as Seho O. still leads with Jojo D. & Joey C. switching chairs again for second and third positions respectively. You have to admire the consistent play of Seho O. Even Exe N. was overheard saying, “It’s hard to beat Seho with his steady and all-around play”.  With eight games to go, players to reckon with are those who came up with low net scores in nine games – Sennix B., Levi M., Rey P., Ed I., and Nap P. to mention a few.

It was an ideal weather with a threat of rain that never really turned up.  Competition was high as ever. Excitement was all over before and after the round as usual together with frustrations, defeats, and successes but there is always the next time.

SGC would like to appreciate the tireless effort of Don D. and Bingoy P. of chasing everybody around for the collection of ‘funds’ week in & week out. Believe it folks; they are like bartenders who hear everything from players every time they do their volunteering chores. Not to mention Jimmy M’s handling the headaches of supervising the weekly attendance.  Hey Bong M., SGC values your effort in running the closest to the pin contest for making the round more competitive.
