SGC<\/strong> would like to compliment the other three members who rallied to launch our convincing second place team finish in last Saturday\u2019s GTAA interleague \u2013 Ross Bautista, JC Montilla and Rene Querubin. These trio turned in net score of 74 to supplement the lowest ten scores submitted by SGC. Wonderful effort.<\/p>\n

GAME 9 \u2013 Excitement and expectations at the GTAA aftermath toiled dearly to most spent members the following day Sunday at Kingsforest Golf Club. For twenty-four players that showed up, some players did not have enough juice to get it going while others did not bother showing up. The likelihood of repeating same performance the day before was highly unlikely, you ponder? Disappointment surprised members who\u2019s got a few words regarding the condition of this golf course \u2013 concrete fairways, spotted greens and to top it all the $70 green fee the course charged with power cart. Whatever happened to the senior rate we used to have?<\/p>\n

Anyway gripes aside, one player who seemed not irritated by all of these distractions and was one of the players responsible for elevating SGC\u2019s second place finish a day ago at the GTAA \u2013 Fred H. \u2013 posted another impressive romp net score of 69. How about them apples?<\/p>\n

Nassau \u2013 Bong M. shooting fair number of GIRs at the front rewarded himself winning it while Julio R. playing with Jimmy M. & Jojo D. did not give them a chance by grabbing the back nine. Another trio tied to seize the coveted lowest overall prize \u2013Sennix B., Oscar J. & Seho O.<\/p>\n

Closest to the pin \u2013 \u201cHow did it happen that no one beat my shot?\u201d, Jojo D. was asking himself because his shot barely made the green on the seventh hole thirty yards away from the pin. Given a chance to do her thing on the 14th<\/sup> hole, Lina M. beat Joey C\u2019s ten-footer from the pin.<\/p>\n

Much to the delight of the crowd that stayed after the round, they got treated by the winners with round of drinks, fries and the famous KF chicken wings.<\/p>\n
