Congratulations to the winners\u00a0of last Sunday\u2019s round at KF. Who said there is no fun in a \u2018blind partner\u2019 game? Someone shot net 69 but watched someone else took home the first prize. It was a close contest and three tied for first place with partnership of combined net score of 142 \u2013 Lina M.\/Fred H., Nap P.\/Seho O., and Jimmy M. \/Jojo D. Jojo won the low net back nine as well. Mike M. made a sterling eagle on the short\u00a0par 4 third hole.<\/p>\n
It was an ideal weather neither so hot nor cold when the first foursome teed off until a burst of showers and sporadic flashes of lightning stopped play approaching the ninth hole. The nature of the course changed drastically as well as player\u2019s perspective playing a round. \u00a0Players could be heard standing over a shot murmuring a sigh of frustrations. Weather forecast got it right this time as they predicted showers in the afternoon. Luckily for us, rain died away slowly and play resumed. It was somewhere in the back nine that the sun shone as players started to get rid of their rain gears. Few white tee boxes were moved forward as management claimed that there was a tournament ahead of us and did not bother moving them back. This was pure delight to players who are not considered as power hitters.<\/p>\n
